Run For The Hills!

Run the course with the most hills in Southeast Michigan!

Join us on Saturday, September 14th, for our 14th annual Run for the Hills event at Hidden Lake Gardens in Tipton, MI. Come for an amazing walk or run through Hidden Lake Gardens' beautiful scenery. Proceeds from the race will benefit Oh These Irish Hills!

Fees:

Registration opens on June 3, 2024, at 9:00 a.m.

• $35 Early Bird Pricing until August 31, 2024
• $40 Late Registration starting September 1, 2024
• $10 Children 14 and Younger

T-shirts are included with registration until August 31. T-shirts are not guaranteed after that date and are available as supplies last at packet pickup.

HLG Entrance Fees: Registered participants gain free entry into Hidden Lake Gardens. All others are required to pay an entrance fee. Cash and Credit Cards accepted.

• $10 Adults (ages 18–64)
• $8 Seniors (age 65+)
• $8 Military and Veterans
• $5 Students
• Ages 4 and under are free.

Packet Pickup and Awards:

Packet pickup will be available at Hidden Lake Gardens on Friday, Sept 13, from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m., and on the morning of the race, from 6:45 to 7:30 a.m.

Awards will be provided for the following divisions:

• 5K Run, 5K Walk, and 1 Mile Walk Men's and Women's: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 and over. 

• Top Overall Male and Female
• All finishers in person will receive a medal.

The race will be professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation. Results will be posted live during the race and online at this website.

About Oh These Irish Hills:

Oh, These Irish Hills is a non-profit organization formed in 2004. Their stated purpose is to advance an Irish Hills legacy involving area individuals, groups, and organizations in activities that celebrate the beauty of the place, the spirit of its people, and the progression of its history.

About Hidden Lake Gardens:

Hidden Lake Gardens is owned and operated by Michigan State University under the division of Infrastructure Planning and Facilities, but supported through admission fees, endowments, gifts and the "Friends of Hidden Lake Gardens" membership program. HLG is open year-round, Tuesdays through Sundays, and closed for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day.
