Red Cedar Running Club Virtual 5k

Since so many (all) races have been canceled or postponed this spring we wanted to offer all runners/walkers an opportunity to test their fitness.  We are offering a free virtual 5k race to all runners/walkers on Saturday, April 18, 2020.  Guidelines:  1. Follow your local shelter-in-place rules.  2.  Make sure you run on a route that isn't crowded so that you can stay at least 6 feet away from others enjoying the outdoors.  3.  Race can be on a track, road or treadmill and must be done on April 18.  4. T-shirts will be given to the first 50 who register and participate in the event.  T-shirts will need to be picked up when it is safe to travel.  5.  Remember if you run on an outdoor track that a 5k is 12.5 laps on a 400m track (not when your watch beeps)!

Please e-mail results and send in photos of yourself from your race to lutzke1030@gmail.com. Indicate in your email if your race was on roads, track, or treadmill.
