We have three ways to Crawl, Walk, Run Against Cancer!
Lonsdale Crawl5K: Crawl, Walk Run Against Cancer - VIRTUAL
- Timeline: Anytime throughout the whole month of October!
- Each registered participant under the Virtual 5K will receive a 5K shirt and other goodies.
- Registration is $40 / per participant
Lonsdale Crawl5K: Crawl, Walk Run Against Cancer - IN-PERSON
- Timeline: Saturday morning, October 17.
- The route will be the same as 2019.
- Each registered participant under the In-Person 5K will receive a 5K shirt and other goodies.
- This will be a social distancing event and MDH guidance is supported and required to participate
- Registration is $35 for pre-registration and $40 to register day of the event.
- The route for the in person Oct 17 date can be found HERE and covers the peaceful paths and neighborhoods of Lonsdale!
theMARATHON: Crawl, Walk Run Against Cancer - VIRTUAL
- Timeline: Anytime throughout the month of October
- Complete 26.2 miles in any time frame - either in one day or spread it out throughout the month and tally the miles together!
- Track your daily results (link coming soon!)
- Each registered participant for theMARATHON will receive a personalized theMARATHON long sleeve dry-fit shirt and goodie bag.

The Lonsdale Crawl
Throughout the past NINE YEARS of The Lonsdale Crawl, we have begun to develop long-term partnerships and relationships with the Lonsdale and surrounding communities - businesses and organizations. We have been blessed to also learn and share about organizations that are truly gifted resources for families deep in the trenches of a cancer battle.
The impact of one person inspired a few in 2012 to start the first Lonsdale Crawl annual event. That first year there was a night of awarness among small businesses and a awareness party with silent auction to wrap up the evening where all were done up in pink. It was there in that first year that something sparked more than we knew at the time. Hearing the stories, listening to learn - brought us to our desire to do more. It was decided we would do this annually. In 2014 we knew that more meant evolving, and in 2014 we became an official 501c3 non profit. We also held the first ever Lonsdale Crawl 5K: Crawl, Walk, Run Against Cancer. We have held these events every year since and have started to try to do more each time, even a little different. Which brings us to this year.
This year we bring you the three different options for Crawling, Walking, Running Against Cancer. Two virtual and one in person. This year has just been enough that we wanted to give you the choice on how awesome it is to be a part of something so special.
The funds we raise go back to our community in the means of supporting cancer warriors, supporting cancer warriors resources, local youth organization initiatives, mental and physical health support for serious illnesses, and entering into this next year we are developing scholarships that will be awarded in the spring of 2021.
