Pedal for a Purpose - Riding to $10,000

PEDAL FOR A PURPOSE is an incredible morning of team indoor cycling, entertainment, and plenty of fun to support the Mustang Market at SMSU & Marshall Area YMCA!

THE CAUSE 100% of all funds raised from Pedal for a Purpose help people right here in Marshall, MN

WHAT A maximum of 30 teams of 3 people each will ride for a total of four hours. Teams can divide up the riding time among their team members however they choose. Each team has one bike.

Throughout the event, there will be 6 different 30 minute rides, each led by a certified instructor. All instructors will cycle to music that is mixed by a local DJ. 

WHERE Pedal for a Purpose will take place at the Marshall Area YMCA, 200 South A Street, Marshall, MN. It will be held outside in the YMCA parking lot, to ensure that we are able to be properly distanced. This will help us to run a fun and safe event! There will be a tent, food, and beverages to enjoy throughout the event. 

Goal & Prizes

The goal is to fundraise as many dollars as we can to support our local nonprofits. Each team will be responsible for fundraising dollars within their team. The more you fundraise, the more you can win! 

• $300 in pledges = $25 gift card to a local business 
• $500 in pledges = $50 YMCA gift card
• $1000 in pledges = 4 free Personal Training Sessions; includes a consultation and health assessment
• $3000 in pledges = 6 month free adult membership
• $5000 in pledges = 1 year free adult membership

We will also be giving out door prizes and serving light lunch at the conclusion of the event. All are welcome to participate as we celebrate a great morning of indoor cycling and community support!
