Description
The 17th Annual MK5K Run & Family Fun Walk is an in person 5K run or 2 mile walk in support of the Southwest Crisis Center and the Mary Kay Foundation. The race/walk takes place during the Nobles County Fair in Worthington, Minnesota on August 5th, 2026 with registration at 6:00 and the race/walk at 6:30. This race will challenge your heart in two ways. First, by supporting a good cause and second, by getting your heart pumping. All proceeds will go toward providing emergency safe-housings and other programs of support for those experiencing domestic and sexual violence and their families.
This race is $30 (plus a $2.80 online fee) if you register before August 5th (11:59 pm August 5). Same day registration is $40 at the registration table!
After the MK5K Run & Family Fun Walk, join sponsors, runners/walkers, staff, board members, and volunteers back at the start/finish line celebrating the support and care that the community is providing to individuals and families experiencing domestic and sexual violence, child abuse and human trafficking! Refreshments once again generously and "tastefully" provided by Forbidden Barrel Brewing Company (Beer/Root Beer for adults and Root Beer for youth).
Primp Salon is again providing a special online order of "Strong is Beautiful" shirts with all proceeds benefiting the Southwest Crisis Center. Come back to this page and look for the easy ordering link on June 1st! THANKS PRIMP SALON!
