Join us as we run for the babies!
The Little Miracles Virtual Run is an event that we can all share together to support the Children's Miracle Network! Due to safety concerns with the COVID-19 pandemic we have decided to make the annual event a VIRTUAL event this year. The Little Miracles Virtual Run consists of either a 5K, 10K or Half Marathon distance! Run, walk or dance your chosen distance both wherever and whenever you want! By running apart we can come together to support those in need!
Washington Park Run/Walk Course
Although you have the option to run/walk the virtual course anywhere you like, we are giving participants the opportunity to run/walk at Washington Park in Springfield, IL anytime between Thursday, August 27th and Sunday, September 6th. There will be signage throughout the park during this time period and encourage people to take a picture in front of our LM5K back drop with #LM5K20, located in the Pavilion at Washington Park! Feel free to share this image with your friends on social media and encourage them to be part of the Little Miracles Run community! One more thing...please remember to practice safe social distancing when running with your family and friends this year!
Race Packet Shipped to Your Home
Shipments will begin starting the week of August 20, 2020.
Registration Includes:

- Race Packet delivered to home
- Online results and post run certificate link
- Ability to run the event at anytime and anywhere you like
Your finisher medal will be mailed to you in your packet before the designated event date! Remember...this virtual run is powered by the honor system! After you complete your chosen distance, we encourage your to upload your final time and download your finisher certificate. After you sign up for the event, we will e-mail you all the details on how to get things set up!

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in HSHS St. John's Children’s Hospital provides care to nearly 600 premature babies and other seriously ill infants each year. We are a 40-bed, Level III NICU serving patients across south-central Illinois. The NICU also serves the South Central Perinatal Region.
Our expert care teams of neonatologists, nurse practitioners, RNs and respiratory therapists are specially trained to work with our smallest patients. Our team also includes pharmacists, dietitians, lactation specialists, pediatric rehabilitation therapists, social workers and Spiritual Care staff members who provide outstanding service for our patients.
