Description
The Sound of the City 5K/10K Race is presented by the SERTOMA club of Kansas City. Located at Waterfall Park in Independence, MO, this race benefits pediatric hearing-related charities including Children's Mercy Hospital's Audiology Clinic and the Kansas School for the Deaf.

Race Packets
Packet pickup will be from 2-6 PM on Saturday, August 10th at KC Running Company in Lee's Summit.

Participants will also be able to pick up packets beginning at 7am on the day of the race.
T shirts, Medals and Awards
All 5K and 10K finishers will receive a t shirt and finisher's medal. Register by Saturday, July 28th to guarantee your t shirt! We will submit the order after this date, and while we will order extras, there is a chance we may run out. Please register early to ensure you receive your shirt!
Award plaques will be given to the top male and female finishers for each distance. Place medals will be given to the top 2 male and female finishers in each of the following age categories:
19 and under
20-29
30-39
40-49
50-59
60 and over
