Description
Like to have family fun? Like to run or walk? Believe that all students deserve a quality education? Then the International Dyslexia Association's Kansas-Missouri Branch Dyslexia Dash is for you! As many as 1 out of every 5 people in the United States have some degree of a learning disability. The most common is dyslexia representing 80% of all learning disabilities. This Dyslexia Dash is an event to benefit the IDA KS-MO. This non-profit organization is dedicated to helping teachers, individuals with dyslexia, their families, and the communities that support them. All race proceeds will go towards the spreading of dyslexia awareness along with funding for teacher training and student reading scholarships.
Here's how it works:
Register! You can run or walk from anywhere YOU want!
You can also set up your own individual fundraising page to get support from friends or family who don't want to run or walk, but want to help teachers meet their students' needs.
On the day, share your photos and tag IDA KS-MO! Use the hashtag #untileveryonecanread & #dyslexiaismysuperpower #ksmoida
