FBC Ripley 5K Run/Walk & Kids 1 mile Fun Run for the Nations

Where:   First Baptist Church Family Life Center 202 East Pine Street Ripley, MS (Across from the Regions Bank) Race officials reserve the right to cancel with no refund within two hours of start if severe weather is in the vicinity or forecast.  Call numbers listed below if this is a concern to see if the race will be run as scheduled.  No animals, please.  

Why:  To raise mission funds for the student ministry at First Baptist Church Ripley, MS. FBC is committed to taking the Gospel to all nations and raising up and training students to GO! The student ministry teaches that Jesus is the hero of the whole Bible and the Great Commission is not just found in Matt. 28:16-20, but the whole Bible is one big story of God's heart for the nations. Every year we want to take two mission trips 1. North America 2. International. The whole High School ministry can go on the North American mission trip, but we take our graduates on the international mission trip. If a student stays with us from 9th-12th grade they have the opportunity to go on 5 mission trips. This year we will be going back to the Dominican Republic and severe local church planters.    

Registration:   Register online or complete the attached form and drop off or mail along with a $30 registration fee to FBC Student Ministry, Attn: Run For The Nations, 202 East Pine Street Ripley, MS 38663   Same day registration $30 and will be open at 7:00 a.m.   All pre-registered entries received by April 10 guaranteed a T-shirt.  Entries received after March 15, not guaranteed a t-shirt. 

Prizes:  Awards to the top male and female 5k finishers overall.  The top 3 male and female 5K finishers in the following age groups will receive awards: 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+. 

What to expect? Race day will be filled with a Family Fun atmosphere like a bounce house, food, and community!
