Anytime and anywhere! The Fireworks 5k can be completed in your own neighborhood, on your favorite running trail, at the park or even on the treadmill. Sign up and get your friends to sign-up too!

HOW TO COMPLETE YOUR VIRTUAL RUN

Register for the Fireworks 5k and complete a 5K. Simply run or walk 3.1 any time and any place that works for you. In your neighborhood, your favorite trail, or even on a treadmill!

We will ship your official Fireworks 5k finisher medal and race materials (packages will ship 3-4 weeks after signing up).  After you complete your 5k, share your accomplishment and the good you’re doing by posting pictures to social media. Show off your medal and be sure to use #run4sunset when you post your pictures

ABOUT

The Fireworks 5k is another event hosted by the Capital Area Sunset Rotary Club of Jackson, Mississippi. The club supports community programs in the capital area, including several with Jackson Public Schools such as supply closets for elementary students, dictionaries for middle schoolers, and family meals for people affected by COVID-19. Other community programs include literacy initiatives with Read Between the Lions and hunger prevention with MS Food Network and Rise Against Hunger

As part of Rotary International, the Sunset Club also supports global initiatives such as eradicating polio and promoting peace.

Your participation helps Sunset Rotary continue its mission and support local and global programs.
