Haunted Run 5k and Kids Fun Run

Rock your favorite costume and brave 5k of terror and Halloween themed challenges AND bring your kiddo down to participate in our Kids Fun Run and Costume Parade! Events are hosted by Moving Mountains in support of Morningstar Learning Center and The Big Sky Discovery Academy 

***NEW THIS YEAR***

Kids Fun Run and Costume Parade!  The course will start at Moving Mountains. We will head down Town Center Ave to show off their amazing costumes and end at The Discovery Academy's Haunted House for Halloween themed games, snacks, and of course a few scares. Ages 15 and under. Parents or siblings are encouraged to race/walk with the little ones! See the race day schedule below for more details.

Kids race registration is $20. Registration includes a token valid for a trip through the haunted house and an entry into the costume contest. Participants will also get the usual fun Haunted Run race swag. 

5k registration is $30. It includes a 2023 Haunted Run swag cup and a beer from Beehive Basin Brewery. This years event will NOT be on trail. We will be running a paved route through Grey Drake and Town Center.

Packet pick up and registration for both events is located at Moving Mountains on the day of the event from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm and again from 2 pm to 2:30pm.

Event Child Care

Bring the kids and still run!

Child care will be available at Moving Mountains during the 5k race from 12:30pm to 2:00 pm . 

$10 per child paid directly to the provider on the day of the event. Spaces are limited.

3:30 pm- Kids Costume Contest Winner Announced at the Haunted House (the old Choppers Building)
