Description
Join the WOLF PACK for a 50 & 25K trail race along the Continental Divide (CDT) trail! All races take place on both Saturday and Sunday.
All races (25K & 50K) begin in Thompson Park, just south of beautiful Butte America in the Sagebrush Flats parking area. You get to run on the Milwaukee Road (Trail) through some historic train tunnels (headlamp recommended), Pipestone pass (6,348') across amazing train trestles, and the rolling trails of Thompson Park.

Schedule
August 10 & 11
7:15-7:45AM: 50K & 25K check in. You will receive your bib and your race sticker.
7:45AM: Pre-race meeting. The Race Director will go over course markings and other important information.
8:00AM: 50K & 25K start.
6:00PM: Finish line closes.

Insider Tips

The course will be marked with color coded flags, cones, and arrows. You will have to PAY ATTENTION to stay on course. Don't just follow the person in front of you!

There will be a water station on the 50K & 25K route, but if you plan to run with water practice wearing your hydration vest or carrying your hand bottle.

This is a trail and mixed terrain event. Be sure to include similar terrain on your training runs!

Bring a dry shirt, an extra pair of socks, change of shoes, and your favorite snacks for the drop station.

If you like to track your miles or listen to music, bring a portable charger for your phone.

- The 2024 route will run clockwise
- Starting Line: Eagles Nest in Thompson Park 6,000 Feet
- Finish Line: Eagles Nest in Thompson Park 6,000 Feet
- Full Aid Station @ Pipestone Pass 6,450' (mile 8.5)
- Water Station @ bottom of Skeebogan trail (mile 1)
- Terrain: 75% Single Track, 10% Double Track, 10% Gravel Roads, 5% Pavement
- Elevation Gain/Loss: 2,400 Feet
- Low Point: Eagles Nest 6,000 Feet
- High Point: Midway on Thompson Park Trails
50K Course Description

- 50K course is two loops
