Join us for the 2nd Annual Vac & Dash Mileage Club Challenge. The summer months are a great time to get out and move. Vac & Dash is coming up with ideas to encourage people to get keep you moving in a responsible way. This three-month challenge is designed to encourage you to move during the summer months.
Treadmill - Exersice Bikes and Peloton miles count.
This challenge is open to anyone in the Continental United States.
The first fifty people that register will have their name in a drawing for prizes including a new pair of Brooks Shoes.
Pick a distance on how far you wish to travel by foot, bike or water from June 1st to August 31st. Miles on your treadmill and exercise bikes count. At the end of the August we will have a drawing for prizes of those that reach their goal. Prizes will depend on how many people participate in the challenge.
Pick your distance - 225-Miles - (75-miles per month) 300 Miles (100-Miles per month) 450-Miles (150-Miles Per Month) 600-Miles (200-Miles per month)
To be eligible for the final prizes in September, you must reach your goal.
You keep track of your miles, and at the end of each month, record the total miles for the month on the Runsingup.com results page. You can run, walk, swim or bike to accumulate miles. However, running and walking miles are counted different than cycling and swimming miles.
Every mile you run or walk counts as a mile. For every three miles you cycle, you count that at one mile. For every one mile you swim, it counts as three miles.
Example: For the month of Summer, say you ran 35-miles, walked 20-miles, biked 66-miles and swam 15-miles. Here's how you would figure it out:
Run = 35 Walk = 20 Bike = 22 (66 /3 = 22) Swim 45 (15 x 3) for a total of 122 miles. (35 + 20 + 22 + 45)
