Ayden Collard Festival 5K

The Ayden Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the Ayden Collard Festival 5K and 2K walk.  This event is in conjunction with the Annual Collard Festival.  The run will be on Saturday morning on September 10th at 8:30am.  Profits from this event will go to support Ayden Chamber programs such as the Ayden Middle School Teen Leadership Institute.  Registration will be available online through Thursday, September 8 and then you can register the day of the event at 7:30am at the stage on West Avenue.  Runners can check in beginning at 7:30am on Saturday morning. 

Awards ceremony will be held directly following the run at the stage on West Avenue.  At the conclusion of the 5K event there are scheduled activities all around downtown including an arts and crafts show and the Collard Festival parade beginning at 11am.

Fees
Single Entry $20. Family Plan: $40 (up to 4 family members living in one household)

Event T-shirts are $6 each and are availble for purchase until August 29, 2016. Sizes: Youth Large, Adult Small, Med, Large, XL. (larger sizes are available for $1 for each X)

Awards
The following age groups will be used for both men and women. All age groups will be based on the runner’s age on race day. 1st place medals will be given in each age groups and there will be a 1st, 2nd and 3rd for the top 3 men, women, boys (15 and under) and girls (15 and under).
