The Run the Valley Half-Marathon is back! and it's your chance to conquer the majestic Morrow Mountain!
🌄 Known as one of North Carolina’s most scenic half-marathons, this race will take you from Badin to the top of Morrow Mountain and back—an adventure you won’t want to miss.

⏰ Half-Marathon Start Time: 8:15 AM
🌟 Half-Marathon Course: From Badin to the peak of Morrow Mountain and back, with over half the route winding through the beautiful Morrow Mountain State Park.
⏱️ Half Marathon Time Limit: 3 hours
👥 Limited Spots: Only 125 participants!

We appreciate your patience and dedication to the Run the Valley 5K & Half Marathon! Due to unforeseen circumstances with permits and scheduling, the previously announced make-up date of March 15, 2025, has officially been moved to November 1, 2025.
We know this isn’t the news you were expecting, and we completely understand the impact of the change. However, we promise to make the November 1st race day worth the wait—with cool fall running weather, breathtaking Morrow Mountain views, and an unforgettable race experience!
