Description
The purpose of this event is to create community awareness of Cerebral Palsy.
There are 3 separate races available to sign up for:
The first will be a timed 5K Run.
The second race will be an UN-timed 5K run.
The third race will be a one mile fun run.
We will be accepting donations for The Centers for Exceptional Children and The Family Support Network, Ainsley's Angels of the Triad, and Go Baby go of North Carolina. Please see the "Donation Tab". You can donate to one or all of the charities listed even if you do not want to run in one of the races.

The Centers for Exceptional Children-Offers five-star childcare for all children ages birth through 36 months. Pre K and Elementary programs which enhance Individualized education and unique growth opportunities for students with physical and developmental disabilities. They also support working families with high-quality extended day and summer programming. The Family Support Network-Provides support and guidance to families of children with special needs.
Ainsley's Angels of the Triad-Founded in July 2011, Mission: In addition to ensuring everyone can experience endurance events, Ainsley's Angels of America aims to build awareness about America's special needs community through inclusion in all aspects of life, by promoting awareness, providing education, and participating as active members in local communities. They are about inclusion advocacy, education, and celebration through execution across America to ensure everyone is included daily, and experience endurance athletics.
Go Baby Go of North Carolina- Mobility is a human right! GoBabyGo! is committed to ensuring that right. The idea originated at the University of Delaware Go Baby Go Chapter by Drs. Cole Galloway and Sam Logan. Mission is to provide mobility and quality of life solutions to the world. We do this through disruptive innovation, academic research, and community outreach. “Go Baby Go,” is a program that provides modified, ride-on cars to young children with disabilities so they can move around independently. The donations will go to the North Carolina chapter.
