Description
Running is not cancelled and neither is racing! As we start to get into a new normal, Trivium Racing is excited to give athletes a chance to race again. We have an eight race Flex Series that will begin on June 8th. Each week there will be a different course for you to race. Athletes can run the course any time they want during that week, day or night. We will mark the start and finish line and, using RaceJoy, you and your friends can time yourself on the course and submit your results to be in the running for awards!
Some courses will be road, others will be trail. The distances will vary as well. We will have results and awards for each race. Athletes who complete at least four of the Flex Series races will receive a medal at the end. Shirts will be for sale ($15) and will be available halfway trough the series. All road courses will be USATF measured to accuracy so you get a real feel of our how you are doing!
FAQ -
Do I need to use RaceJoy for the Flex Series or can I use my Garmin or other smart device?
You can use any smart device that will record your time, and distance so that we can verify your results.
Does it matter what time of day I do the run?
No, that is what is great about this series. You can run it whenever you like within the week timeframe given. Just make sure you have a way of verifying your time
Will roads be closed for the event?
No, please obey all traffic laws!
Can someone run with me who is not participating?
Yes, but they will not qualify for awards.
How are you measuring the courses?
We will be using a Jones Counter for the road courses and measuring it using USATF standards. For the trail courses we will use a wheel and 2 GPS devices.
