The number of steps varies per flight. There are a total of 765 steps.

Do I have to climb all the way to the 43rd floor in order to participate in the T2T Tower Climb?
No, there will be a bail out floor available during the climb on floor 20. A water station will also be available on floor 20.

Will there be medical assistance if necessary?
There will be medics on the premises in the event of an emergency.

Will hallways be included in the climb distance?
Yes, participants will pass through a couple of hallways during the climb.

What direction does the stairwell wind?
The stairwell winds to the right until the 12th floor and then will wind to the left until the top.

Is there a limit on how many people can register?
No! The more the merrier.

How long does the T2T Tower Climb take?
This depends on your fitness level as well as speed and time spent resting. Everyone will finish at a different pace. Competitive Climbers may finish the 43-story climb in less than 8 minutes, while non-competitive participants will likely finish in 15-45 minutes.

Is this a timed climb?
Yes. Each climber will get a timing chip. In order to receive an accurate time, please make sure your bib is clearly visible on the front of your shirt. Check back shortly for information on wave assignments and the link to the website with official results!

I might get tired and be unable to finish, what should I do?
Slower climbers should move to the left, allowing faster climbers to pass on the right. If you cannot complete the climb, just find a volunteer or staff member who can escort you to the nearest rest area and direct you to an elevator.

I’m a first responder; can I wear my bunker/turnout gear, scott packs, etc.?
Yes, you may wear turnout gear. We encourage it!

What is a "Competitive Climber”?
A Competitive Climber is a stair climber who routinely participates in stair climb events and can run up the stairs, completing the climb in a very fast time.

Can I bring my cell phone?
While it is strongly discouraged, you may bring your cell phone.

When can I pick up my registration packet (bib and t-shirt)?
