Description
Around the Crown 10K is a race rooted in Charlotte from every angle and we're proud to bring the active community together around a city we all love. Year one created a sustainable race with nearly 5,000 runners on the Queen City's inner beltway while donating $20,000+ to local charities.
We're excited to head back to the highway for year two with a brand new course and finish festival at First Ward Park! In the first two miles you’ll pass all three uptown Charlotte sports venues, entering I-277 next to the Carolina Panthers stadium. Then it's onto the highway for 3 miles where you'll see the Queen City from a new speed while circling the breathtaking skyline. Exiting the highway, you're onto the final mile through beautiful Fourth Ward before heading back to the finish festival for a family friendly party for all!

This 6.2 mile journey is beautiful from the opening ceremony to your last stride across the finish line. We’re excited to head back to the highway year two with a brand new course and finish festival at First Ward Park! In the first two miles you’ll pass all three uptown Charlotte sports venues, entering I-277 next to the Carolina Panthers stadium. Then it’s onto the highway for 3 miles where you’ll see the Queen City from a new speed while circling the breathtaking skyline. Exiting the highway, your onto the final mile through Charlotte’s beautiful uptown including Tryon Street. Now it’s time to head back to the finish festival for a family friendly party for all! Needless to say, this 10K course is unlike any other and an opportunity you do not want to miss.
