CPI Security Charlotte Turkey Trot

Celebrated as one of the 20 Best Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trots in America, the CPI Security Charlotte Turkey Trot is a Charlotte Thanksgiving tradition for the past 35 years!

Join us on Thanksgiving Day morning and choose from several fun options to participate including an 8K Run, a 5K Run/Walk, a 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk, and a Tot Trot. Starting and finishing at the SouthPark Mall, the largest road race (10,000+) in North Carolina is a homecoming destination for extended families, and old classmates, and a place to meet and celebrate with neighbors. The community comes together for the official Charlotte kick-off to the holiday season!

• Suffolk Punch Brewery open race morning 7am - 11am with a special menu and full bar
• Start line upgrades include enhanced walker, baby jogger and runner corrals. Plus, a deejayed pre-race experience and live national anthem

  • Harris Teeter Tot Trot is FREE and convenient, running continuous heats from 8:30-9:30AM. Register your kids online to guarantee a race bib and medal!

• CMPD Explorers HOLIDAY TOY DRIVE – Please bring a toy on Thanksgiving morning – our goal is to collect thousands of toys for local kids in need.
