"R-U-N 2 the ARTS" 5K Color Run & Fun Run

Join us for our second annual Sampson County Arts Council 5K Color Run and Fun Run- a unique paint race that celebrates healthiness, happiness and individuality. It will be held at the Victor R. Small House in Clinton, NC on November 5, 2016. Come prepared to be drenched with color as a fun family outing or get ahead of the crowd and be prepared to run your personal best before the color erupts. We look forward to seeing all ages, walkers, runners and anybody willing to be a cheerleader along the way. Life is not always about how fast you finish the race but more about the fun you have along the way!

Feel free to wear your normal running attire; the powder will wash out. For those registered in time, a t-shirt will be provided in your race packet.

We love chucking paint and making people smile, but we also think it is important to give back. As a non-profit organization, we are excited to be presenting this color run to raise money to support the arts in our community.

The start-line window will open at 8:30 AM. Make sure you plan to be at the race in plenty of time to enjoy pre-race festivities including music, dancing, and warm-up stretching!

5K Color Run Start: 8:30 AM
Award Ceremony: 10:00 AM

Registration & Fees
5k Pre-Registration Fee: $30.00
5k Race Day Registration Fee: $35.00

If you plan to register on race day please bring cash or check made to Sampson Arts Council.

All 5k participants who pre-register by October 26 will receive a race day t-shirt!

Awards
Awards will be given for the top male and female in each age bracket.

The first 200 finishers will receive a medal!

Timing & Results
All racers must wear their assigned timing chip (embedded in race bib) in order to be timed.
Chip scoring is provided by Run the East LLC.

Packet Pickup:
Early packet pickup & registration: Friday November 4th, 2016 5:30-6:30pm at The Sampson Arts Council (709 College Street)

Race day registration and packet pickup will begin on race day at 7:00am at The Sampson Arts Council (709 College Street)

Parking:
If you are local, we encourage you to car pool as parking along College Street is limited. Parking lots are available at College Street School and State Pest Control (both located on College Street and will be marked with signs!)
