RunTimeRaces is hosting the 2nd Annual Great Pumpkin Run 4K - Harvest Celebration in conjunction with Spirit Truth Ministries. This course will start and finish at Conover City Park with a relatively flat 2.4 mile course designed with new runners/walkers, families, and children in mind. Harvest permitting, participants will receive a FREE PUMPKIN. As a RunTimeRaces produced event, be assured this event will be well organized and leave you with an Awesome Race Experience.
This year we've added a NEW DIVISION titled Tough Pumpkin Runner Division for all those participants looking for the next challenge. Each Tough Pumpkin Runner participant will be required to carry a volleyball/basketball size pumpkin through the 4K course. Participants may not use any devices, bags, packs, straps, or anything other than their hands and arms to carry the pumpkin. Prizes will be awarded for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and female Tough Pumpkin Runners who cross the finish line. Each Tough Pumpkin Runner participant will receive a finisher medal.
Early Registration through 11:59 pm on Tuesday, September 19th includes a FREE RACE TEE. Race Day Registration opens from 7:15 am - 8:15 am Race Day (No race T-shirt will be included during Race Day Registration). You must have the proper amount for cash payment on race day, no checks accepted.
Age Based Pricing 17 & Under = $16
Phantom Runner Can't participate and would still like to support our event and get a cool race shirt, consider being a PHANTOM RUNNER (No participation required, shirts may be picked up at Packet Pick up or on-site Race Day.
Awards
Given to the top 3 male & female finishers, and top Overall Masters male and female. Awards will go to the top 3 male and female 5k finishers in the following age groups:

School Supplies Needed
RunTimeRaces is pleased to announce we have partnered with Classroom Connections to help collect school supplies for students of the Catawba Valley. We're asking each Great Pumpkin Run participant to bring new unopened school supplies to donate on Saturday, September 30th. The Classroom Connections staff will be on hand to collect the supplies.
