The Jack Adair Mile

After a hiking trip in the Teton Mountains in September of 1972, Jack Adair started logging his miles running and walking all over the world. His journey took him throughout the United States, Switzerland, Africa, and Europe. Jack walked his last mile April 13th 2014 for a total of 34101 miles. Now his family would like to honor him by offering you an opportunity to run The Jack Adair Mile.  

The venue for this event will be the Conover City Park.  This event will be chip timed.   All net proceeds for this event will be donated to the Concordia Lutheran Church Youth Group to help fund a trip to the National Youth Gathering this summer.

Two heats will be offered, one for runners competing for speed, and one for runners & walkers in general.

ANYONE 60 YEARS OF AGE AND OVER RUNS FOR FREE.

Phantom Runner: Can't participate and would still like to support our event and get a cool race shirt, consider being a PHANTOM RUNNER (No participation required, shirts may be picked up at Packet Pick up or on-site Race Day.

Early Registration through 11:59 pm on Monday, April 4th includes a FREE RACE TEE. Race Day Registration opens from 5:15 pm - 6:15 pm Race Day (NO Race Tee with Race Day Registration). You must have the proper amount for cash payment on race day, no checks accepted.

Awards given to the top 3 male & female finishers, and top Overall Masters male and female in the speed heat (you may NOT compete in both heats).

Awards will go to the top male and female finishers in the following age groups in the general heat (you may NOT compete in both heats).
