0.5K Superhero Beer Run - Cornelius, NC

This is the run for the non-runner or at least beer lover in all of us.  We won’t start at the crack of dawn, how does 10:30am sound?  We won’t make you stretch before we start, how about a cold beer instead.  You don’t have to be a runner to finish this race…we won’t even tell if you don’t finish! 

Come out and join a group of committed superheroes banded together by our desire to put an end to blood cancer! All proceeds will go to Be The Match the National Marrow Donor Program.

At the starting line you will all be greeted by a beer and after you cheers your friends, we will start our “race”.  At the halfway point, there will be doughnuts for those of us who need to carb load to get to the finish line! Once you grace the finish line, an astonishing 1,640ft from the start, we will celebrate with another beer.

So come for the race, stay for the party! Eleven Lakes Brewing Co. will be hosting us at their location with plenty of parking throughout the Hyde Park complex. 

All participants will receive the requisite, pretentious 0.5 K running sticker so the world will know what a beast you are. First 100 to register will also receive a participation medal because, doesn’t everyone need one.

Will be giving prizes for the top 3 fundraisers because after all, we are not just running and drinking beer, we are saving lives!
