Description
If you're a runner on a budget, we have a deal for you! On New Year's Day, you can run a 5K for free! The run is limited to the first 40 people to sign up, so make sure you register fast! If you don't register, you're encouraged to be a bandit. After all, it's free!
This is a casual run; we'll have a clock at the end, but there's no actual timing. There will be no awards for the runners, but volunteers will get some sweet prizes for helping out.
Race packets
You want a race packet? This is not the race for you! We don't need no stinkin' race packets -- just show up and run!
Amenities
You want amenities? Well, there will probably be some water, coffee, hot chocolate, and doughnuts at the finish line, and if Summit Coffee is open we'll head over there for more coffee and pastries.
Volunteer Awards
Volunteers will get something cool for their efforts, but not sure what yet. Stay tuned!
Runners don't get squat, other than the satisfaction of a run well done, plus plenty of camaraderie.
