Toliy Givens Memorial 5K Run - Denver, NC

Join us for the 4th Annual Toliy Givens Memorial 5K at Rescue Park, Denver, NC 

Date: June 11th, 2022

Race Starting Time: 8:30 am 5k kicks off

Purpose of event: In Memory of Toliy Givens, Former Lincoln Charter Cross Country Athlete, Teammate and Friend of the Lincoln Charter Family. Toliy was adopted by the Givens family, from the Ukraine as a boy through New Horizons for Children.

All proceeds benefit New Horizons for Children, and organization that supports orphaned children in the Ukraine and throughout Eastern Europe.  In the midst of the current crisis in the Ukraine, New Horizons is supporting orphan evacuation costs from the Ukraine to neighboring countries.

Course is: The race will be held on the Lincoln Charter Cross Country Course which has varied terrain, 1.4 miles of pavement around the soccer fields, some moderate hills and through wooded trails. The trail portion of the course is not baby stroller friendly.  See the course map below.

The race will be chip timed by Racing Toes Timing Company.
