1st Annual HCMH Food Truck 5K

This will be a 5k and food truck event on the campus of Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital! Food Trucks will be set up in front of the HCMH Wellness Center immediately following the 5k! Free 10 minute sports massage will be offered for 5k participants before and after the race!

This will be the First Annual Food Truck 5K put on by Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital Foundation and Wellness Center here in beautiful Elkin, North Carolina. The race itself will take place on the campus of the hospital, winding it's way through various roads and medical parks throughout the campus. Runners/Walkers of any age and ability level are encouraged to attend. The food trucks will be set up in the parking lot of the Aquatic and Wellness Center and will be ready to start serving at 10:30am and will go until sometime after lunch time. Anyone in the community is welcome to come and indulge from the food trucks, whether you're a 5k participant or not. So come and participate in the walk/run, eat some delicious food from the food trucks and have a great time!!

Restrooms and Aid Stations
Restrooms and shower facilities are available inside the Hugh Chatham Aquatic and Wellness Center. Aid stations (First Aid, water coolers, etc) will be located at various locations throughout the 5k course.

Proceeds from this event, through the generosity and support of the HCMH Foundation, will benefit the growth and development of programs planned to meet the services and equipment needs of our community members. New equipment in both the Wellness Gym, which will benefit gym members as well as Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy patients, and the Aquatic Center is needed to better service and accommodate the needs of our members and community!
