Description
It's time to FLY! This unique 5K experience takes place on the runway of our regional jetport. A flat track on good pavement should easily give you an opportunity to break your personal record.
This community race is being held in conjunction with fly-in airshow, Wings Over Harnett that brought hundreds of residents out for fun, food, and lots of flying. This year, the 5K race has been added to the festivities. All proceeds from the run are used to support outreach services of Harnett County Teens As Parents, whose goal is to encourage school completion and prevent pregnancies for adolescents.
