The first-ever “IRISH I WAS FASTER” St. Paddy’s Day Race takes place in gorgeous historic downtown Fayetteville, NC. Runners and walkers will enjoy this road race which traverses a scenic downtown and lots of St. Patrick’s Day fun!
For those wanting to run in person on 3/17/21, meet at the starting point at 5:45pm. However, there is no on-course support or official timing for this informal in-person event.
If you can’t make it to the defined course, you can still participate virtually anytime and anywhere you’d like between March 13-21. Wear your green and race the leprechaun to the end of the rainbow.
All race participants will earn an “IRISH I WAS FASTER” tee-shirt.
Prove you are the fastest leprechaun in the pack and earn a luck-filled medal. The top three race finishers, both male and female, will earn the coveted “Lucky Charm” medal.
Two types of races:
5K: This USATF certified course highlights Downtown Fayetteville’s gorgeous site, or run a virtual 5K on your own at a place of your choosing.
100-yard dash: Designed for anyone that wants to support the organization, burn 10-calories, get a free tee shirt!
