Pirate Road Race and 1 Mile Fun Run: Color Run Edition

Join us Saturday, April 22, 2023, for the 15th Annual Pirate Alumni Road Race and Fun Run in Greenville, NC. There will also be a virtual option for our out-of-town Pirate family and friends. This is a family friendly event for all whether you're a seasoned runner, walker, or just like the occasional leisurely stroll. Your footprint will count and help to raise funds for ECU scholarships. The deadline to be guaranteed the correct t-shirt size is 04/04/2023.  Limited quantity available for participants who register after 04/04/2023.

Greenville race participants will receive an official racing bib, electronic timing chip, race t-shirt and a post race party with food and refreshments! Awards will be presented to the first three male finishers overall, to the first three female finishers overall, and to the top three male and female finishers in each age group. Our virtual participants will also receive an official t-shirt and have some cool options to use with the RaceJoy! app that will make you feel like you're part of the "live" action.

Our custom race course is USATF certified and will begin on the corner of Cotanche and Reade Street. Participants will race through ECU's campus, passing by the Cupola, Trustee's Fountain, and Wright Circle before crossing the finish line in Uptown Greenville. The One Mile Fun Run will race straight down 5th Street and turn around at the 1/2 mile mark.
