Description
The 11th annual GLObal RUN 5K will be a glow run! This event is in support of Gray’s Creek Middle School's global focus and student travel. This year’s scholarship recipients are traveling to London, Paris, and Rome in June 2023 and to Costa Rica in July 2023. How awesome is that?
Again this year--TEAM competition!
Each participant gets a t-shirt, a glow bracelet, and glow necklace. You also receive a FREE SUNSET SLUSHEE and a chance to win a door prize. Gear up, paint up, and get your glow on for this fun event. NOTE: Must register by April 1 to guarantee a t-shirt.

All ages and levels are encouraged to participate. Walkers and runners welcome!
Awards
Awards will be given for top male and female finisher, as well as age group categories.
TOP MALE AND FEMALE are awarded a custom paperweight and a $50 gift certificate to Green Side Up.
All AGE GROUP winners receive a $20 gift card to Academy Sports + Outdoors.
Top TEAM to finish will also receive a $10 gift card to Academy Sports + Outdoors and a glow-in-the-dark dodgeball.
AND...over 20 door prizes!
Course Description
Race will begin at the back of Gray's Creek Middle School. The course is flat and will start and end at GCMS. This route had guides along the way and there is a deputy at the turn-around point on Celebration. This route does NOT cross Chicken Foot Rd. Plan to stay after the race for door prizes, snacks, and photos. There will also be a display about students’ upcoming travels and past trips taken.

About the GLObal RUN 5K
Gray's Creek Middle School is located in Hope Mills, NC. It is a global school that focuses on and promotes the idea that its students are part of a world much larger than their hometown. In support of students who are traveling globally, GCMS has started a 5K race as a fundraiser to help with travel costs. As this race grows, GCMS hopes the number of students experiencing world travel also will grow. Our goal is that our school and community will become rich with real world travelers, experiences, and knowledge.
