Hot Springs Homeless Coalition 5K

Come visit historic Hot Springs in Western Carolina this October at the PEAK of Autumn's glory!

5K Race will feature a scenic tour of Hot Springs back roads, mainstreet downtown and plenty of breathtaking colors to be in awe for.

Performance times will be collected and awards given to the top 3 Male & top 3 Females overall. Age Group awards will go to the top individual per gender for every 10 year increment (9 & under, 10-19, 40-49 etc).  All runners in the 5K will receive a special giveaway for the event, orders close ten days before race day.

A one mile Run/ Walk is available for those who would like to participate for a shorter distance, the one mile walk/ run is untimed and unscored, just for fun!. The one mile event is open to for dress up (not required)! Come support the cause in active attire or costume and run/ walk the mile stretch to celebrate Halloween ahead. Lace up and dress up for a fun Autumn morning run/ Walk!

All proceeds for this event will benefit the Homeless Coalition of Madison County.  The coalition is a 501(c)-3 non profit which provides aid for low income home owners in Madison county who are in need of home repairs, utility replacements and residence construction. The deppartment hopes to expand to provide assistance to other county neighbors in the future.  Proceeds and donations go to annual operating costs and supporting local community members in need.
