Hollins Grove Trail Race

DUE TO UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES WE HAVE MADE THE DECISION TO POSTPONE THE 2019 HOLLINS GROVE TRAIL RACE AT STEVENS ROAD NATURE PRESERVE TO A FURTHER DATE.  WE ARE WORKING TOGETHER WITH BLUE HEEL DEVELOPMENT (HOST), HARDCORE SERIOUS FITNESS (MANAGER) AND QUEEN CITY TIMING (TIMER) TO SCHEDULE A NEW DATE FOR THE EVENT.  PLEASE CHECK BACK AND/OR FOLLOW THE FACEBOOK SITE FOR UPDATES. IF YOU HAVE ALREADY REGISTERED YOU WILL BE CONTACTED FOR FURTHER INSTRUCTION.  THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING AND PATIENCE WHILE WE WORK ON A NEW DATE.  

Come join us on Saturday, September 7th for a 5k, 10k, and a 1 mile fun run through the beautiful and pristine Stephens Grove Nature Preserve. Hosted by Blue Heel Development and the Hollins Grove neighborhood, the event will take place from 8:30am - 11:30am. Don't miss out on this opportunity to explore Stephen's Grove Nature Preserve for the first time! We will have sponsors and tents set up for food, drinks, games, and other surprises after the race!

Blue Heel is developing property off Cashion Road.and is hosting this trail race to allow runners to explore the amenities of this new residential community and other opportunities in the local area. Hollins Grove is a 40 lot community located on a 46 acre parcel in the Huntersville, NC rural planning area. It's a Feature Builder Community with three local custom builders and homes starting in the $700’s. The run will start and finish on the streets of Hollins but will primarily take place on the trail systems established in the Stevens Road Nature Preserve, part of the Mecklenburg Country Park and Recreation Department.  The preserve has a trail head less than 1/2 mile from the developments entrance so it will carry the majority of the mileage.  To learn more about Hollins Grove please visit our Facebook Page.
