Join us for the 5th Annual New River Splash Triathlon, Duathlon & 5k presented by Moore Buick GMC! Located in Jacksonville, NC, home of Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune and Marine Corps Air Station New River. The race starts and ends in downtown Jacksonville. The swim portion is in the New River, cycling through MCB Camp Lejeune and run through downtown Jacksonville. This event is sanctioned by USA Triathlon so if you don't have a membership please select a one-day pass during the registration process.

Is the water safe?
Yes the water is tested by the City of Jacksonville Stormwater Department. If for some reason it is unsafe, we will cancel the swim portion of the event. Please note that it is normal river with the potential to see different types of wildlife.
Am I allowed to wear a wetsuit?
Wetsuits are only allowed if water temperature is below 78 degrees. We will be checking the water temperature the day before the race and will let everyone know.
Are there finisher medals?
YES! Everyone receives a finisher medal
