Description
WHERE & WHEN: Croatan High School's cross country course. Kids Fun Run (1 loop of course) @ 9:00am. 5K @ 9:30am.
KIDS FUN RUN: Elementary school students and younger. Parents welcome to run with smaller children. No official timing results, but race clock will be running during the event so participants can see their time as they cross finish line.
HOW MUCH: 5K: $20 per adult. $15 per student (high school and middle school students). $25 ON RACE DAY. Kids Fun Run: $10 per child. $15 ON RACE DAY.
IMPORTANT TIMES: Race day registration/bib pickup will begin at 8:00 am and END PROMPTLY at 8:45 am at CHS.
BEST DRESSED CONTEST: Report by 8:45 am to show off your best green and gold gear to win a prize!
T-SHIRTS: Runners pre-registered BEFORE March 6th are guaranteed a shirt. LIMITED QUANTITIES available on race day!
AWARDS: Given to top male & female finishers (5K and Fun Run), as well as to the top finisher in each age group (5K).
AGE GROUPS (5K): 12 and under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over.
SIGN-UP: Register online at www.runtheeast.com. Entry forms located at CHS, other local schools, and local businesses.
