5K for St. Jude by NW

The 5k for St. Jude by Northwest is the first annual 5k event for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital staffed by Northwest students. The event will take place at Oak Ridge Park on April 14, 2018. This family event is supported by several Northwest Guilford High School Clubs and Organizations. These include National Honor Society, DECA, Latin Club/JCL, Key Club, Men's Soccer Team, Women's Basketball team, Men's Lacrosse team, and the Baseball Team. Many Northwest students have seen the effects of terminal illnesses such as cancer in their family or friends, but most of us have been lucky enough to escape these illnesses in our childhoods. This event aims to create community support for children suffering from such diseases which St. Jude Children's Research Hospital treats free of charge.
