11/20 (10:30pm): NO MORE RACE SHIRTS:
We have run out of race shirts. Consequently, we have now lowered the race registration fees for both the 5K and the 1-mile fun run by $15 to account for the fact that anyone registering for the race at this point will not receive a race shirt.
When the race is over, people can check at the blue Set Up Events trailer at the finish line to see if there are any race shirts available. If there are, people can purchase one for $15.

Women of the Pines
In 2024, Set Up Events is proud and delighted to be donating a portion of the race proceeds to Women of the Pines (www.womenofthepines.org).
The Women of the Pines organization provides assistance to those in need in the greater Pinehurst community. They work in concert with other established charities in the area to help them more effectively provide their services to the sick, the hungry, the homeless, and the abused. Each year, Women of the Pines donates one or more scholarships to Sandhills Community College to be awarded based on financial needs of candidates who are working to continue their education.
Many North Carolina residents struggle with food insecurity, especially during the holiday season. We ask that you consider donating some items like canned soups, canned vegetables, cereal, rice, pastas, or other shelf stable products at packet pick-up for the 2024 Pinehurst Turkey Trot. There will be boxes set out for these donated items. The food products will be donated to the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina and will be distributed to residents of Moore, Lee, Scotland, and Richmond counties.
The you for your help!
