Teens With A Mission 5K and Super Hero Fun Run

WHEN AND WHERE:  The Teens With a Mission (TWAM) 5K and Fun Run will be held in Salisbury, North Carolina, on Friday evening, April 26, 2024 in Downtown Salisbury at First Presbyterian Church (308 W Fisher St., Salisbury, NC  28144).  Please park at the bank lot across the street or the First Presbyterian Church Parking Lot.

The 1/2 Mile Super Hero Fun Run will start at 6:30 p.m. followed by the 5K at 7:00 p.m.  Fun Runners are encouraged but not required to wear their favorite super hero or character costume.

RACE COURSE (SEE MAP BELOW):  Both races start and end at First Presbyterian Church.  The TWAM 5K is USATF certified - NC22009BDS. It is designed to appeal to walkers, joggers, casual runners, competitive runners and elite runners. 

PROCEEDS:  All funds raised during this event will go to the work of Teens With A Mission, who work to help families in need and reach out to the community to share God’s love. Keep pounding!  Hammers for runners!  Houses for families in need!

RACE DAY CHECK-IN AND REGISTRATION:  5:00 p.m. - 6:15 p.m. on site on April 26, 2024.  5K ($25) and Fun Run ($10).

AWARDS:  5k Run/Walk - Top 3 Overall Female and Male, Top Masters Male & Female (40 & Over), 3 Deep Age Group Awards Male and Female.  Top Overall Male and Female runners will each receive dinner for 2 and 2 tickets to a Downtown Production.  Masters, 1st & 2nd place Age Group winners, 2nd & 3rd Overall winners receive our unique "hammer award."  Overall winners not eligible for Age Group Awards.

1/2-Mile Fun Run - Top 3 Overall age 12 and under, Medals to all other Fun Run finishers

Awards will not be mailed.  Please make arrangements to pick up.

AGES:  5K Run and Walk age groups - 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & Over

SHIRTS:  Great looking Short Sleeve high performance Technical T-Shirt for 5K Run and Walk participants

DOOR PRIZE GIVE AWAY!:  Salisbury's biggest door prize 5K!  All participants are entered to win one of our awesome door prizes from local businesses!  So many door prizes!  So many chances to win!  Gift cards, gift baskets, running gear, and more!  Must be a registered participant of the 5K or Fun Run to be eligible to win a door prize.  Prizes will not be mailed.  Please make arrangements to pick up within two weeks of the race.  After two weeks, door prize claims will no longer be valid.

TIMING:  Timing and scoring will be provided by Salisbury Rowan Runners.
