The Non-Runners Run: A Race for The Underachiever

On Saturday October 14th 2023, Operation Military Kids Club (OMKC) will be hosting the 5th annual Non-Runners Run: A Race for The Underachiever.

This race is a half mile in distance with a donut/water stop at the half way mark.  All registered participants 21 and over will receive a ticket for a free beer at the Salty Turtle at the end of the race.  Root beer will be provided for those 20 and under.  The course starts at 10:00am at Faith Harbor United Methodist Church (14201 NC Hwy 50   Surf City, NC 28445) and ends at The Salty Turtle (103 Triton Lane Surf City, NC 28445).   All participants (18 years and older) that are registered by October 3rd will receive a Non-Runners Run t-shirt.  If your registered child/ren would like a  t-shirt, please email nonrunnersrun@gmail.com with your name and  the youth sizes you would like.

Cost is $28 for ages 18 and older        $10 for  ages 5-17      Under 5 is FREE

This race is open to the first 300 registered participants so don't wait to sign up as spots fill up fast and you don't want to miss out!  Raffle prizes will be announced throughout race registration and at opening ceremony at the start of the race. This race is stroller and wheelchair friendly.  No dogs, with the exception of service dogs, are allowed on the race course.
