Come run the Nighthawk 5K at North Buncombe High School on September 6, 2024.  Information on the meet is listed below.  Entry for middle and high school will be on NC Milesplit.  We will also have an Open Race for adults.  Registration for the Open Division will be on RunSignUp.

Middle School Girls    2 mile race    7:30 pm

Middle School Boys  2 mile race   8:00 pm

High School Girls   5k race   8:30 pm

High School Boys    5k race   9:15 pm

Open (adults, combined)  5k race   10:00 pm

Course:   The course terrain is a flat to rolling loop. The loop is

approximately 1 mile. The running surface is a combination of

grass, asphalt, and artificial turf. The course will be lighted

throughout.

Teams:  The middle and high school races will be limited to 10 teams

or approximately 100 runners per race. The open race will be limited to 100 runners. 

Cost:   Middle school = $25 per team or $50 for both boys and girls.

High Schools = $50 per team or $100 for both boys and girls.

Open race = $35 per individual. Small service fee will also be charged. The open race is open to all runners.

Awards:   The top 2 teams in both the middle and high school races will

    receive team awards. The top 5 individuals in each team race

will receive individual wards. The top 3 males and females in

the open race will receive awards.
