Race to the Taps POSTPONED! @ Eluvium Brewing Company

This race is postponed at this time due to COVID-19.  We will be in touch as we figure out a new date.

Our first Race to the Taps 5k powered by Ingles is at Eluvium Brewing Company in Weaverville, just 15 minutes from downtown Asheville.  This course will start at Eluvium, heading down Main Street and around Lake Louise Park then returning to Eluvium for live music, a food truck, awards and cold brews.  Dress up in fun beer or running themed costumes for a chance to win King or Queen of the Taps!  

Join us for this unique and fun 5K race and stay for a free beer...the beer that Weaverville is proud to call their own!  Check out their website to find out where they came up with their brewery name.  Eluvium was brought to life in the fall of 2017.   For a list of the current Eluvium offerings, check this page out.  

The route is appropriate for the seasoned runner & the casual runner/walker.  Dogs and Strollers will be allowed.  And of course, your race registration includes a well-deserved post-run brew on us from Eluvium Brewing Company - non alcoholic options are also available.  

See the Photos Tab for more info on the route, subject to change.  Note that the race will be run on asphalt as well as gravel as you go around Lake Louise.  The water stop will be located by the lake - thanks to our volunteers from the Asheville Mardi Gras Foundation!  Dogs and strollers are welcome on the race route and at Eluvium.  

Packet Pick-Up:  Bibs and Swag Bags can be picked up starting at 9:30am the day of the race, March 28th at Eluvium.  T-shirts will be available at Packet Pick-Up if purchased and extras will be available for sale the morning of the race.  

Ingles will be onsite with a fun, interactive booth + water and bananas for all runners!

NEW THIS YEAR - Runners can receive a finisher medal!  *limited to the first 300 runners who register.  We will also award 1st - 3rd place Overall and Multiple age groups for both Male and Female.  Age Groups Are:  Under 21,18, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70+ and Middle Of the Pack.

Live Music Before and After the race starts from 5j Barrow.  Music will start at 10:00am, so arrive early to listen and stretch!
