Shmedfest 5K/Fun Run

The Shmedfest 5K and Fun Run is back and better than ever! Join us on Saturday, August 27th at the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds for a weekend of fitness and fun benefitting Crisis Control Ministry!

This races will start and finish at the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds. races, join the Crisis Control community for a free evening of live music at the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds Clocktower. There will be great food and beverages, local artists, and activities for the whole family!

Shmedfest Schedule of Events:
Shmedfest Fun Run/5K - Saturday, Fun Run starts at 8:00 AM and 5K at 8:30 AM
Shmedfest Concert - Saturday at 5:30 PM

For the 5K Race, overall male and female 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place will receive a prize. In addition, the top male and female runners in the following age brackets will receive a prize.  

• Ages 13-18 years old
• Ages 19 - 29 years old
• Ages 30-39 years old
• Ages 40-49 years old
• Ages 50-59 years old
• Over 60 years old

This event benefits Crisis Control Ministry. Crisis Control Ministry assists people in crisis to meet essential life needs and to become self-sufficient.
