The Broadwater Days Committee will be hosting a 5k GLOwalk, Run, Ride to raise funds for the upcoming Broadwater Days Celebration. May 23, Friday evening the event kicks off at 7:30pm with a start line at The Farmhouse in Broadwater. The 3 mile route that was used last year for the Broadwater Days 5k will be used. Wear your Neon clothes for a fun night of glowing! The Finish Line will be hosted at The Starr Street Diner with a hot dog feed. Registration fees are $20 for adults. $10 for teenagers, $5 for kids and $45 for immediate family. Registration includes a 20 oz neon water bottle, 2 glow sticks, hot dog feed and black light photo booth. Families are encourage to participate, walking, running, bike riding, dogs on leashes, and grandparents in golf carts are all welcome. Register at participating locations, or online at runsignup.com.
