About: 

Andy Hoffman recently announced he has been diagnosed with a brain tumor. Andy, Founder of The Team Jack Foundation and Father of Jack Hoffman, is an advocate and a influential voice in the awareness of childhood brain cancer. After Jack was diagnosed with brain cancer 9 years ago, Andy dedicated his time to fighting with Jack, and is now beginning his own fight.

We are inspired by this story, as are many people in Nebraska, and around the world.  We knew there was something our  community could do to help, especially during this already difficult time. 

We thought what better way to honor and support the Hoffman family, then by running/walking for them! 

So we present to you Miles for Team Jack, our September Miles Challenge! We are partnering with the Team Jack Foundation by donating 100% of the proceeds back to the foundation. 

It gets better, September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month! We believe this challenge will bring awareness to all forms of childhood cancer, but more specifically fighting for childhood brain cancer awareness with Team Jack!

Challenge Details

Registration Options: 

- 50 Miles 

- 100 Miles

Cost: $25

For either option - each participant receives a shirt with the "Miles for Team Jack" logo and a challenge sticker!

Participants will also receive an exclusive Miles for Team Jack Medal, if registered by August 16th!

Shipping:
You can choose to have your t-shirt, sticker, and medal (if applicable) mailed to you. The shipping fee will be $5 and will ship out starting September 21st.

In-store Pick-Up:
If you choose to pick up your t-shirt, medal (if applicable), and sticker in-store there will be NO additional charge. Pick-up will start on September 21st at Fleet Feet Lincoln and Fleet Feet Omaha!

How it works: 

Once you are registered we will separate participants into 4 teams. The teams are designed to band together members of the challenge to keep everyone motivated and encourage a little friendly competition for a great cause!

Team 1: Scarlet
Team 2: Cream
Team 3: Blackshirts
Team 4: Cornhuskers

As a participant you will record your miles on a google spreadsheet corresponding with your team! You can upload these daily, weekly, or by the end of the month! You will run whenever is best for you! From there your goal is to complete 50 or 100 miles by the end of the month!
