Spring Into Wellness Fun Run/Walk - Clarkson College

The Clarkson College Student Physical Therapist Assistant Association is hosting an annual fun run/walk. Participants complete either a 1-mile walk or a 5K run/walk (3.1 miles).  We host this event every year to build community relations while promoting health and wellness. It provides a great opportunity to bring community members and future health care professionals together!

Proceeds support the Clarkson College Student Physical Therapist Assistant Association and 10% of proceeds will support a recent PTA graduate diagnosed with stage IV breast cancer and MS Forward.

Details

Registrations

• $25.00 for 13 years old & up (includes $22.50 registration + 2.50 processing fee) 
• Kids 12 yrs & under can participate for FREE but registration is still required through the sign-up options. 
  

Registration Deadlines

• Register by March 14th to guarantee a t-shirt! Registrations after March 10th will receive a shirt on a first-come first-serve basis.
• Accepting online registrations through 8:00am on the date of the event. 

Location

• S. 39th and Marcy St. at the Field Club Trail *do not enter "Field Club Trail" in your GPS, it will likely take you to the wrong address

Parking

• participants may use the UNMC parking lot (available on weekends) which is located just west of the trail or street parking

Check in

• pick up your race packet and t-shirt pick-up from 8:00-8:30 at the event

Timeline

• 8-8:30 Check-in
• 8:25 Abby Olberding Makovicka PTA Scholarship Announcement
• 8:30 Race begins
• 10:00 Race ends

Raffle

• Win a 1-year free membership to the YMCA among other prizes!
• Raffle tickets may be purchased at the event. Must be present to win. 
  • $3 = 1 ticket
  • $5 = 2 tickets
  • $10 = 5 tickets

Bathrooms

• not available on-site - suggestions include QuikTrip on 715 S Saddlecreek Rd or QuikTrip on 4720 Hamilton St.
