Description
On June 23, 2018, the town of Goffstown, NH lost one of it's own when Amanda Lescatre passed away tragically and unexpectedly. A young girl with seemingly many years of life before her. Amanda's presence will be profoundly missed not only in her family but in her community.
She Runs This Town (SRTT), a national women's running group with thousands of NH members, would to ensure Amanda's legacy carries on in her hometown of Goffstown. Amanda was an active participant in the art community at Goffstown High School. On August 16, 2018 at 6:30 p.m, SRTT will host Miles for Amanda: Art on the Run, an untimed family 5k fun run/walk in her honor. All proceeds from the 5K will be donated to the Arts department at Goffstown High School.
Amanda was an outgoing toddler but as she got older she became more shy and turned to art as a hobby. Though she often hid her work for fear of judgement she would share the ones she was really proud of. She soon found that art was her calling. The Goffstown Arts Department has been an extraordinary gift to the Lescatre family and countless others The Arts Department is a forgotten part of school. There are no scores to call out over the loudspeaker at morning announcements, just quiet individual accomplishments. It's a safe, loving place to be quiet, but still be part of something. Art was an opportunity for Amanda to grow as an individual without the pressure that some kids feel with a team sport.

Registration Fees: PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS RACE IS UNTIMED
Adults - $30 / $35 day of event
Youth (12 and under) - $20 / $25 day of event
Bib Pick up the day of the event. Starts at 5 p.m.
Day of Registration available starting at 5 p.m.
