The Branchville 5K

The Fund Racing Alliance proudly presents the third annual Branchville 5K, on September 22 2024, at 10:30 AM.

*Kiddos Fun Run is back & will begin at 10 AM - $10 suggested donation!!!

The race starts & ends at Selective Insurance, & runs through the Boro of Branchville NJ, on our USATF-Certified Course! The race is in support of Mental Health Association, located in Newton, Morris, Essex and Passaic, NJ!

About The Fund Racing Alliance: We are a 501c3 non-profit organization which enhances well-being through movement. Our mission is to enhance physical, mental and community stability by raising awareness and funds, while promoting a healthier and stigma-free approach to mental health. We partner with charities & other organizations that provide services to the people who need them. About Mental Health Association:  Mental Health Association (MHA) is a community-based, nonprofit organization providing a wide continuum of behavioral health and substance use disorder (SUD) services to children, adolescents, adults, seniors, and families in Northern New Jersey. Their Mission is to promote mental health, including the integration of physical health care, to improve the care and treatment of individuals, and to remove the stigma associated with mental health disorders.

'The Wellness HUB', located at the Newton location, provides rapid access to treatment for those 18 and older, experiencing exacerbated symptoms of mental illness.  The HUB provides drop in assessment, psychiatric evaluation, medication monitoring, therapy, group counseling, case management and support.  As a walk in at the HUB, you will be immediately linked to their treatment team to support you including a Nurse Practitioner, Registered Nurse, Licensed Therapist, Substance Abuse Counselor and Case Manager.

Finding your way to wellness and recovery during times of crisis is not easy.  The HUB is open 7 days a week and welcome new consumers to drop in or call our office.  Wellness HUB Case Managers are available to provide transportation to and from our offices whenever needed.  Our wraparound care includes assessment with a psychiatric nurse practitioner and a plan for recovery.  These treatment plans are developed collaboratively with the consumer and are individualized.  The team will work with you to quickly lessen your symptoms and link you to the next step in your recovery.  The HUB team will meet with you for a period of 30 days, or until you can be linked to the most appropriate follow up treatment.

Our race is unique! There is a fundraising (Fund Racing) aspect, which allows you to RUN FOR A REASON! Once you sign up, create a Fund Racing page. Reach out to your coworkers, family and friends or share through your social media accounts & ask that they support the cause on your behalf. Keep in mind that our organization is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit; any and all donations are tax deductible! 

Prizes will be awarded to the 1, 2, 3 TOP FINISHERS male and female, and 1st place by age group Male & Female as well as our TOP FUND RACERS

Same day registration: $35 (cash or check only)

Race Day Schedule:

• 9 AM: Bib Pick up Starts
• 10 AM: Kiddo Fun Run
• 10:30 AM: Race start time
• 11:30 AM: Awards

Parking for the race is in the upper lot at Selective Insurance: 40 Wantage Ave. Branchville, NJ 07826.   The parking lot is a 5 minute walk to the start line, so please leave plenty of time to pick up your bib, hydrate, and get pumped up!
