Iron Girl Project 5k & 1M Run/Walk Laps For Lex

Our Third Annual Laps for Lex 5k & 1 mile fun run / walk will be held on Sunday June 4, 2023 9:30a.m. The event will take place at the Somerset County Park Commission's Duke Island Park in Bridgewater, NJ (rain or shine).

5k will be chip timed, results will be posted immediately after the race.

Race day check in begins at 8:30am.   Race day registration will be accepted 8:30 - 9:15am. 

Optional Pre-race check-in: Friday, June 2nd, 5pm - 7pm

Course:  You will be running on both a pedestrian trail / pavement with the 5K and 1 mile run/walk being one fast and flat loop within the Park.   Course map below. 

*The giveaway for this race will be a race T-shirt, guaranteed for all participants registered by May 15.
For participants registered after that date, a very limit number of T-shirts will be available after the race on a first-come first-serve basis.

Proceeds go to support the Alexea G. Karpinski Memorial Scholarship Fund.

About Us:  The Iron Girl Project supports student athletes who prove their worth on and off the field.  The Iron Girl Project raises funds, primarily through athletic events and sponsorships to award scholarships to student athletes who exemplify Alexea's beliefs on and off the athletic field.  We will continue Lex's goal of making a difference in other's lives.
