Burlington City High School National Honor Society's Virtual Run/Walk for the American Heart Association

According to the Center for Disease Control (CDC) Heart disease is the leading cause of death for men, women, and people of most racial and ethnic groups in the United States. One person dies every 36 seconds in the United States from cardiovascular disease. About 655,000 Americans die from heart disease each year—that’s 1 in every 4 deaths. Heart disease has impacted many of us here in Burlington City, and the National Honor Society would like to raise money to donate to the American Heart Association and raise awareness. The 5K run/1 mile walk will take place between May 28, 2021 and June 15th, 2021, any time, any where. The event is free, but donations are very much appreciated.
