This is a triathlon training team for youth 12-18 years of age. The goal of training is to build the skills and confidence to complete a youth triathlon; to build fundamentals and advance in physical and mental skills and overall character. Your child does not need to have any prior experience in triathlons, this is open to all ability levels.

The program will run from June 26th through August 26th with four practices per week. Training will consist of four days per week, 1-2 hours per session. Training will include pool swims, open water swims, biking, running, strength training and flexibility.

In addition to in-person training, we will use an app (free) to complete individual training an additional one to two times per week. All training and programming will be listed in this app with access for parents and the participating youth.

The end goal is to complete a local triathlon to wrap up the season. Each participant is encouraged to register for either Tri the Wildwoods Sprint Triathlon or Wild Child event, which takes place the last day of the season. Upon registration to the team you will receive a discount code to register for this event.
